Bonanaz Candy operates on a physics-based match-3 engine where players swap adjacent candies to create horizontal or vertical matches of three or more identical pieces. Each successful match triggers a cascade system where new candies fall from the top, potentially creating chain reactions that multiply your score exponentially.
The game features five distinct candy types with unique collision behaviors and special combo mechanics. When you match four candies, you create a Striped Candy that clears an entire row or column. Match five in an L or T shape to generate a Wrapped Candy with a 3x3 blast radius. The ultimate combination is matching five in a straight line, creating a Color Bomb that eliminates all candies of one color from the board.
Each of the 500+ levels presents a unique objective system: reach target scores within move limits, clear jelly-covered tiles, collect specific candy types, or break through chocolate blockers that regenerate each turn. The difficulty curve introduces new obstacles every 15 levels, including licorice locks, candy spawners, and multi-layered frosting that requires multiple matches to destroy.
Progress through carefully designed puzzle stages that introduce new mechanics every 15 levels. Each world features unique visual themes from Candy Forest to Chocolate Mountains, with increasing complexity that balances challenge and satisfaction. Boss levels every 20 stages require strategic candy combo planning.
Master the combo system by merging power-ups: combine two Striped Candies for a massive cross-blast, merge Striped with Wrapped for a triple-line clear, or fuse two Color Bombs to obliterate the entire board. Each combination produces unique visual effects and score multipliers up to x5.
Participate in rotating 24-hour challenges that reward bonus candies, extra moves, and exclusive power-ups. Weekly tournaments pit you against global players with leaderboard rankings. Complete daily login streaks for cumulative rewards including unlimited lives for 30 minutes.
Unlock pre-game boosters like Extra Moves, Starting Striped Candy, and Color Bomb placement. In-game tools include the Lollipop Hammer to crush single candies, the Shuffle to rearrange the board without losing moves, and the UFO that targets three random candies for elimination.
